Counselling

Counselling offers a confidential, supportive, and non-judgemental space where you can explore any emotional challenges, difficulties, or life experiences that may be affecting your wellbeing. I work with adults aged 18+ and offer both short-term and longer-term counselling, depending on your individual needs and what feels most helpful.

Appointments are available online via video or telephone, allowing you to choose the format that best suits your preferences and accessibility requirements.

If you're considering counselling, we would usually start with a free introductory call. This lasts around 20 minutes and gives you an opportunity to ask any questions you may have, tell me a little about what's bringing you to counselling, and get a sense of whether I might be the right therapist for you. Finding a counsellor can feel like a significant step, and it's important that you feel comfortable with the person you choose to work with. The introductory call is simply an opportunity for us to connect and explore whether working together feels like a good fit. If you decide that you would like to move forward, we can arrange an initial appointment at a time that works for us both.

Ongoing sessions last 50 minutes and are offered on a weekly or fortnightly basis to support continuity and the development of our therapeutic relationship. However, I recognise that everyone's circumstances are different, and where appropriate we can discuss alternative arrangements that take into account your needs, commitments, and budget.

Counselling sessions are charged at £55 per 50-minute session, payable in advance. Appointments are available Monday to Friday, with session times between 9.30am and 5.30pm.
